The FEDIC, Moroccan federation of leather industries governed by the provisions of the royal decree no 1-58-376 of the 3 Joumada I 1378 (November 15, 1958) regulating the right of associations, such as it was modified and completed by the royal decree no 1-73-285 of April 10, 1973 and the royal decree of July 23, 2002, by the general principles of the law applicable to contracts and obligations.
Founded in 1991 it gathers approximately 350 companies including 160 member companies constituting the most structured companies.
It aims at the protection of the interests of the companies of the leather sector while contributing to the strategic thought in order to apply a general policy of development through plans of promotions, studies, action plans, training, settlement of the administrative problems associated with the leather sector and finally the implementations of strategies and plans.
The FEDIC gathers all leather industries including the industry of shoes, leather goods, tannery, tawing, saddlery and industries related to the leather sector such as the suppliers of adhesive, machines and accessories for industry.
The will of the members of the FEDIC is to highlight the development of the sector by carrying out these various action plans related to the adopted strategy.
Finally the FEDIC has gained an international dimension by taking part in various international events, it is an active member of the CGEM (General Confederation of the Companies of Morocco).x
